Croptix and Texas A&M Citrus Center staff are running Croptix sensors in commercial orchards in southern Texas as part of a USDA HLB-MAC funded project. The nearly two-year study is seeking to better understand Croptix system performance for early screening of HLB in both young and mature trees across multiple growing seasons. Both Croptix measurements and PCR diagnostics are being performed on the trees at regular intervals. Croptix accuracy is currently ranging from 84-98% for identifying HLB as compared to lab diagnostics.
